Aldermaston - lies revealed and last call for registrations

Responding to questions following the government's National Security Strategy statement earlier today, Gordon Brown said "We have already made our decisions about Trident and have set aside the money for that to happen".

The government have been investing heavily in new facilities at Britain's WMD factory since 2002. Despite repeated MoD denials that a new or revamped nuclear weapons system is in the pipeline, Brown's comments today have rather exposed the elephant in the room.

On Easter Monday - 24 March - thousands of people from across Britain and beyond will be descending on the Atomic Weapons Establishemnt Aldermaston to celebrate 50 years of protest and say no to a new generation of nuclear weapons: "the bomb stops here".

Organisers say that coach places and overnight accommodation is flying off the shelves (as it were) and want to let people know that registration for crash space accommodation and registration for SMS alerts (on the day) will be closing on Friday night.

More sound systems (there's already quite a lot); large props; interesting creative endeavours; nice people; funky outfits (choose your decade), etc , etc .. always welcome ;)

So, if any imc readers are planning on coming but haven't sorted where to stay or how to get there, please visit the link below.

See you at the wire...
