How callous and contemptuous should MPs and 'Lords' be allowed to be?

With the main 'interest' about UK MPs and 'Peers' being about sleaze, cash and dodgy behaviour, the logical and reasonable thing would be to find in the 'mainstream media' a sustained debate and investigative reporting on how to replace the present baggages and put genuine representatives of the people in the parliament. But there is no chance or likelihood in the foreseeable future that the demand will be reflected by the mainstream' media. Why is that so? And what is to happen to the people whose rights are being violated and as in the case of the objectors to the Crossrail Bill, obstructed by the allegedly 'independent' 'House of Lords'?
Last night's edition of the BBC2 'Newsnight' programme had an item for the exoneration of Toby Blair over the dodgy dossier.
And who could the BBC think of to do the job?
Why Robin Butler of course.
An old 'college' ' mate' of the Guardian's former [and the original perniciousness] 'editor' Peter Preston, Butler has had a good press. And a very good BBC!
And he has done considerably more to exonerate all the key players of their responsibility for the massacre and the violations in Iraq.
Last night's episode in the saga of Robin Butler serving the globalising agenda fronted by Blair, was made even more 'credible' as the stunt was staged with the loyal servant J Paxman. .... What a radical that man, paxman. has been made into !
No wonder that the MPs who are busy looking for and 'finding' 'loopholes' to pocket [invest into their kith and kin!] ever more public cash do not have much to worry about being interrogated by 'Paxman'.
When it comes to power and politicians, Paxman record has been that of a very dependable propagandist and poodle.
Both the 'Houses' are now full of personnel that must be having the time fo their lives, laughing at the public and the media....
For the Mps and the Peers know that no matter what the odd, occasional expression of disquiet , the media and the public do follow 'parliement's lead' [!!!!] as the loyal 'subjects' that they are....
Civilisation as we know it!
Democacrty as we know it.
Mother of Parliament as it stinks of sleaze, cash for peerages, donations for mayor of london....
