Help! Blair for E.U.president.

Al Asitis | 17.03.2008 21:19 | SOCPA | Globalisation | Repression | Social Struggles

Blair for president of the E.U.If this is not buggery then I don`t know what is.

Tony is being touted as the next president of the E.U.You know the war criminal puppet of bush/rummy and cheney. No wonder the spread of non demonstration laws. The one thing that is missing is a petition to the E.U.Against t.b. being allowed to take the position that he and his manipulators want.If this preposterous scenario is allowed to go unchallenged then `You get what you deserve` comes into play.
Maybe I am missing something ? Maybe there is a petition already out there ?
WHERE ?
I know that petitions are pretty useless in this democracy, but it is the only thing not covered by socpa law i think---hold on someones banging on the door--------

There is a petition - been out there for a few weeks. It is pro-EU, but so what. It's not overtly pro-the new treaty. Nearly 26000 signatures, and lots of juicy comments about Blair. Take a look:

You can still book a protest in advance. Use the time to build up numbers. There is no law that prevents you making fun of your opponants so long as you dont harass them. So use your imagination! I need the overtime.

Petitioning

I did see a petition somewhere, but it was so fawningly pro-EU that I was physically sick whilst attempting to sign it, and had to give up. A pity really, because the EU is such a democratic and accountable institution that it really would have had an effect. That's why they had so many referendums over the EU consitution...

As for SOCPA, the best way is to ignore it, I reckon. If you can get the numbers then the police won't be able to stop it without a mess, and then you get to weaken the law by challenging it, rather than strengthening it by obeying it.

Thanks Mr.Plod,
The one problem that stands out is that the netcu/socpa lot are not known for avoiding `messes`.
Found the petition .Thanks copernicus.
