We commenced our activities outside the BBC Television Centre until we had to move on after we were threatened with arrest under the Terrorism Act from 2 Police Officers. The idea that we would go to the main BBC studios with a bullhorn, delivering facts pertaining to the events of 9/11, with a mobile PA system playing the likes of 'One Love' by Marley AND be terrorists is just too silly.

We then took to the London Underground with our peace music and 9/11 bullhorn tales. They were met with wise nods and the occasional 'have you seen Zeitgeist?' [yeah that suitcase.... they ain't eyes.... THEY SPEAKERS! 300 WATT SPEAKERS!]

Next to the bustling Oxford Street and some improv board making in Leicester Square.

If we didn't go out this 11th we wouldn't have got to meet 5 new guys dying to get involved and help out.

day of truth sounds like a Christian fundamentalists conference. I would avoid the word 'truth'. It's patronising. Awesome post though. Great pics!

All ten of them! Amazing! If they keep growing at this rate the 9/11 Truth movement will be nearly as big as the remaining Branch Davidians by 2099. 'Day of Truth' does sound a bit Christian Fundamentalist. Which is entirely appropriate. Why the fuck are IMC UK promoting miniscule actions by pitiful sects on the other side of the planet?

Forgive me for asking but since when has a conspiracy theory been grassroots activist news?
This post has been added to the promoted newswire, Why? I was under the impression that the promoted newswire was for serious activist news. This imho is not activist news it has no relevence to any activist campaign, sure its a campaign but it is not about activists.
Would any imc'ers care to justify this post being promoted?

Fear and Loathing at Indymedia

After checking out the hidden comments I'm disgusted to see the desperate attempts to belittle and suppress a growing international movement for social justice. In the US, television news presenters call for 9/11 activists to be thrown into secret prisons and I get the feeling that would suit some of these pretend anti-authoritarians just fine. It's heartwarming to the see the budding solidarity between FOX News, the US Government and the disgruntled 9/11 true believers on indymedia but I've got some bad news for all of the above: we're growing by the day and we're not going away. March 11 saw united action for 9/11 truth in London, Sydney, Perth, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago, Jersey City, Calgary, Ottawa, Edmonton, Vancouver, Melbourne, Minneapolis, Denver, Rapid City, Cincinnati, Seattle, Washington DC, Stockholm, Dallas... that's not a complete list, just off the top of my head.

Keep whining that we belong in the back of the bus - we'll keep fighting for justice.
