Bike2Oz tells the story of Kevin Doye, a train worker, and Lowanna King, a teacher, who chose to pedal rather than fly to highlight the damage done by aviation to the climate. The duo filmed their entire adventure across the UK, Europe, Pakistan, India, Iran, Singapore and Australia.

The first episodes of a video series was released this week about the young British couple that successfully cycled from Oxford (England) to Sydney (Australia). Not content with just cycling the epic journey, the couple did much of the trip twice.
To make their video series, they backtracked down scenic landscapes to set up their video camera and tripod to film themselves cycling over the Alps and the Himalayas. The series is produced by the award winning Undercurrents productions.

Director of the series Paul O'Connor said today,
'Bike2Oz is a journey of Love- both to express their love of the planet and also love of each other. It's a very inspiring series and makes us think if they can pedal to the far side of the world,then we should all be able to get on our bikes and ride to the shops or work.'
The 13 part series is being released online under a creative commons licence allowing free viewings for all.
