IMC Germany censors pic of killed Gaza toddler

Indymedia Germany takes off article with foto of killed Gaza baby

A short article carrying a picture of a toddler killed in the IDF attack on Gaza was istantly taken off the publishing board. The foto showed a man holding a six months old baby covered with blood. The pic was first published by  http://www.aljazeera.com/

A video of the event is still available on  http://www.aljazeera.com/

But no picture of the scene is available on any source in the internet. All news againcis united in preventing an outcry of humanity making it´s way round the world.

Sadly, indymedia Germany did not meet up with the ethics of independent media: to publish news that others supress.Yesterday evening the short article with the foto dissapeared after 10 miutes.

The reason being obviously the sectarian atmosphere within the German (and Austrian ) radical left.

Under this climate any critical discussion of the Israely and Palestine criticism is branded as anti-semitc, mirroring a general attitude of the world media: do not publish reality in order to make undone.

This attitude lead to bizarre deflections of guilt. For instance, the killing of
little boy Muhammed Al Durra by the IDF was later blamed on the Palestinians
.
These dramatic almost unbearably events have taken place and must be documented. We cannot look a way from reality.

Let´s hope that - should IMC Germany not come to it´s senses - another independent media center will come fulfill the duty of uncensored media and publish

THE PICTURE WHICH VANISHED FROM THE INTERNET AND WORLD MEDIA.

The picture has not vanished from the Internet - It's on the front page of the corporate news website Al Jazeera
That would be a repost round here.
