Media cover up.

Ana Kissed. | 29.02.2008 05:33 | Anti-militarism | Repression | Terror War

Cynics who dismiss conspiracy theories might like to take a look at a conspiracy fact for a change.

For more than two months the whole of the mainstream media, including the BBC we are compelled to pay for, agreed with the warmongering establishment to keep quiet that a member of the Royal family was in Afghanistan. Not only that but reporters have been out there with Harry while he has been fighting. This cover-up on the part of the media only came to light thanks to an American website  http://www.drudgereport.com/.

The extent of this conspiracy to conceal the truth of the involvement of royalty in this war is in the following statement by General Dannatt

"I am very disappointed that foreign websites have decided to run this story without consulting us. This is in stark contrast to the highly responsible attitude that the whole of the UK print and broadcast media, along with a small number of overseas outlets, who have entered into an understanding with us over the coverage of Prince Harry on operations. The editors took the commendable attitude to restrain their coverage. I would like to thank them for that."

It makes you wonder if the whole of our corporate media can be gagged this easily how much more they have concealed from us over the years.

it's quite obvious to me that the leak emanates from the royals/military establishment itself.

It gives them the opportunity of an abhorrent little orgy of pro-war propaganda and also allows them to take him out of the battlefield now that the dangerous days are coming.

This particular media feeding frenzy has done much to improve the previously tarnished image of Harry in the eyes of the public. It is also fascinating to watch almost the entire media acting as one in talking up this sorry episode in which they have been plainly revealed as guilty co-conspirators.

The only good thing to come out of this is the certain knowledge of how much our media is controlled and censored.

and saying she likes it.

That's what I felt the little fucker was doing when I saw him on the beeb saying she must be proud of him.

Wasn't she the most famous and popular anti-war activist in the world before she died ?

Or have I missed something ?

And yeah the media coverage is frightening in its blind uncritical alignment.

Fascism without the moustache of Hitler or Stalin.

Diana?

Diana? The world's most famous anti-war activist? Muh?

She was anti landmines, but very happy to spend a lot of time with soldiers. A lot. And to take her sons out for photo opportunities on tanks, dressed in uniforms and so on. Those pics have been dragged out again of Harry in the last few days.

Turning Diana into whatever you want her to be just makes you sound like the editor of The Express.
