This is just too funny for words.

After ftp and his camp followers did everything they could to protect Atzmon and alienated about a third of the other admins and probably half of the current readership by allowing him to post his anti semitic crap he has rejected Indymedia !!!!!

As highly amusing as this twist in the saga is, there is still nothing to be popping corks at.

Atzmon was just a symptom of an affliction. The last 3 months have just been matters coming to a head for many people. The problem has been within Indymedia UK. A problem that give rise to a situation where certain people could prevent the right thing from being done.

As is stands, the problem is unresolved and it is only a matter of time before this scenario repeats itself, if things are just left hanging.

It is quite amazing that someone who promotes Jewish conspiracy theories and Holocaust denial could be defended here, by people here.

In any other anti-racist structure such people would be hastily ejected and denounced- if nothing else it would have limited the reputational damage.

Let's hope that they get this fixed soon and with the minimum of fireworks.

Well at least they have spared themselves the inevitable onslaught that was being invited by their 'Dodgy Dossier' (the proposed 'How Atzmon is really great and it's all a Zionist conspiracy against us' whitwash, I mean 'feature'.)

They would as well have declared an Open Season.

Get it fixed finally!
