Newsflash Planka.nu Stockholm february 2008:

Planka.nu recently released its first report about the multimillion
dollar plans to build a new urban highway in Stockholm. We summerize
the recent research and come to the conclusion that the highway is not
compatible with enviromental goals or the traffic needs of Stockholm.
Our counterproposal is fare-free extended public transportation. The

Our future plans include a day of action on the 1st of march. That is
the day when Stockholm public transportation company SL increases
their fares again. We will host a rally inside the underground/subway
and loads more. We hope to be joined by other groups in Sweden and -
of course - worldwide! This day of action in Stockholm is co-hosted by
us and Open Stockholm ( http://www.oppnastockholm.se).

This autumn the European Social Forum will take place in Malmö,
Sweden. We will of course be there to discuss the struggle for
fare-free public transportation and are looking forward seeing european and
international guests there!
