Martin Lacey aka Mr Cool Calm and Collected

Martin Burton | 19.02.2008 10:14 | Animal Liberation | World

Listen to the interview done by BBC Radio Nottingham when they interviewed owner and ringmaster of the 'Not so Great British Circus' at the start of their tour in 2008.

Martin Lacey really needs to go on an pr/anger management course.

Only lat week on th 11th Feb 2008 he told The Newark Advertise that he would not let any pictures be taken while the animals (lions and tigers) were locked in cages.

He said this was because it gave a negative image of the circus.

That is absolutely top quality stuff - very revealing! What a nutter! He sounds like his head is about to explode.

Why not just stop imprisoning and exploiting wild animals, Martin? It's not hard.

If what you were doing wasn't so completely reprehensible, maybe you'd manage to take an innocent verbal slip-up on the chin without losing your rag?

The interviewer sums it up perfectly:

"It'll be interesting to see what the listeners think about your circus, if this is the attitude you have towards human beings..."

Quite.
