the current riots have more to do with what happened in paris than ungdomshuset. after an immigrant man and his son were harassed and beaten by police, immigrant youth kicked off. another reason for their frustration are the newly introduced "visitation zoner", areas were police can randomly stop and search anyone for no reason. the activist scene responded to the riots with a solidarity demonstration against racism. but this conflict is not based around ungdomshuset.
