Brown gives yet another speech on training

"Do you want fries with that degree? Although McDonald’s has been running a 'university' for years, it's been announced that they will now be offering qualifications here in the UK. Equivalent to A-levels, the 'McQual' will help students er ... work in a fast food restaurant for low pay and few prospects. An action-packed curriculum of burger flipping and fry shaking is sure to get eager students to take up the course by the thousand. And no doubt there'll be a whole semester dedicated to studying the loopholes that help the budding manager-to-be avoid giving his or her minions any employment rights." -- SchNEWS
Today Brown gave what was his third major speech on training in as many weeks. The private companies that run these scam training courses see it as more taxpayer's money coming their way, state handouts for the private sector.

It was only a little over a week ago that Brown gave a major speech on er training, a few weeks before that he gave a major speech on er training.

There is a need for high quality training, especially for the unemployed, who are at a disadvantage in the labour market. Brown's idea of high quality training is a McQual from McDonald's, that sets you up for life, er a low paid McShit job working for McDonald's.

Training for the unemployed is a scam that helps line the pockets of private training companies like CDG, A4e, Working links, helps massage the unemployment figures, but does nothing for the unemployed.

Brown is currently fighting back bench Members of Parliament to try and block a Private Member's Bill which would grant equal employment rights to an estimated million agency and temporary workers. The CBI wishes to see the status quo maintained: a pool of low paid indigenous workers competing with a low-paid immigrant workforce all competing for the same low-paid McShit jobs.
The action by Brown is to renege on the so-called Warwick Agreement reached with trade unions, to renege on a promise made at last year's Labour Party Conference.
To renege on promises is becoming habit forming for Brown. He has reneged on the promise to grant a referendum on handing powers to Europe.
What we are seeing is part of an ongoing war against the poor, the unemployed, the sick and the disabled. Only last week, we had a government minister saying no work no home, that if you were unemployed you would be kicked out of your council house.
