Indymedia and Anti Semitism

This is my take on the current situation at Indymedia.

I have been a supporter of Indymedia for the past four years I have contributed articles on Climate Change, Child Prostitution and Social Struggles in South America. I have watched with increasing unease the developments over the past year with regard to Anti Semitism and how Indymedia deals with it.

In my view Indymedia UK now allows obvious Anti Semites to post and has administrators on the page who are prepared to defend Anti Semitism. This I find unaceptable and I do not want to be involved with any organisation that does this.

I am with immediate effect withdrawing from Indymedia UK and shall no longer contribute in any way. I will continue to contribute to other Indymedia sites around the world, this only relates to the UK.

If you want some truth you need to speak to one or more of the 30+ people at the network meeting... Also you might also ponder why no IMC admins have disputed the hiding of these articles or the promotion of the comments pointing out that they are lies...

Incredible stupidity

So an IMC admin goes to the post and alters Sophie's email address to one that does not exist and than claims this is proof ? Just how stupid do you think IMC readers are ?

Now this this appalling series of events is on other sites, such as Socialist Unity and various blogs and can't be hidden the truth is at last coming out.

Try as he might Roy Bard can't stop pissed off people who were at the Notts meeting talking to others, posting to other sites and telling the TRUTH about what has been decided. He can scurry all over the UK IMC site hiding, editing and removing posts and comments but his Stalinist wish to control all around him does not run to the entire internet.

IMC will not be a safe haven for Holocaust deniers, David Duke supporters and Anti Semites.

These websites and blogs are not able to be controlled by Roy and his two supporters.
