Yet More Attacks on Whites Ignored by the BBC

Anon | 01.02.2008 20:07 | Anti-racism | Migration

Everyone has heard of Stephen Lawrence . . . the BBC and other national media gave huge prominence to that incident, and have tried to create the impression in the public’s mind that it is only ethnic minorities who are victims, and that it is Whites who are always “racist” attackers.A quick round up of some recent local stories, give lie to this assertion, and also show just how biased the BBC and other national media are - for if any one of the incidents below involved ethnics being the victims, you can be assured that it would have been national news.

Gang attack on pregnant teen

TWO teenage girls - one pregnant - were victims of what police describe as an ‘unprovoked and cowardly attack’ and were robbed of a mobile phone by a gang of Asian heritage youths.

Both were taken to hospital after the attack and police are appealing for the public’s help in catching those responsible for the incident.

The 17 and 18-year-old victims were outside Wavelengths in Leeds Road, Nelson, at 10-45 p.m. on Thursday when they were approached by a gang of six or seven youths of Asian appearance, aged between 16 and 18, and wearing dark, hooded clothes.

The 17-year-old is five months pregnant. In the unprovoked attack, the 18-year-old was struck repeatedly in the face and was knocked into the 17-year-old, who ended up on the ground.

DC Dave Walker, of Pennine Division’s police Hate Crime Unit, said: ‘The 18-year-old suffered severe bruising and swelling to her nose. The 17-year-old was knocked over and suffered stomach pains, but has since been given the all-clear.

‘During the incident, one of them dropped a mobile phone and that was stolen. One of the attackers picked it up.’

Vicious gang beat up woman - witness appeal

POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was attacked while walking home after a night out in Nelson.

Between 10 p.m. and 10-30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12th, the 31-year-old was walking home when she was the victim of a violent and unprovoked assault by four men.

Her injuries were serious and included cracked ribs, facial cuts and internal bleeding. The victim was hospitalised for several days and was severely traumatised.

Three of the offenders are described as Asian males wearing dark clothes, aged in their 20s, of slim build and average height. The fourth is also described as an Asian male in his early 30s, of large build, with short dark hair wearing spectacles and sporting a full beard.

Detective Constable Kim Bradshaw said: ‘This was a despicable and completely unprovoked attack on a lone female who was simply making her way home after a night out. I realise some time has passed since the attack but I would urge the public to get in touch with the police if they know anything at all about it. I would also ask the males involved to examine their own consciences and do the right thing by coming forward to explain their actions. I can be contacted directly on GB +44 1282472190 Call or if anyone wants to remain anonymous they can contact Crimestoppers on GB +44 800555111.’

* Update: As of this morning, Pendle Today has deleted the story of the gang attack on the pregnant teen off its server, although the story still shows up on the Google News search. We are under no illusions why they have pulled the story, most probably under advice about “community relations.”
