A peaceful demonstration will be held outside Styal Prison, Cheshire, England, UK
on Tuesday 5 February 2008, commencing 1.30 pm
to protest against the death of the young mother Lisa Marley, aged 32
who died in the care of the jail on 23 January 2008
All are welcome to attend, including reporters and photographers

(1) Lisa Marley is the first woman to die in prison in 2008.
(2) The demonstration will be led by Pauline Campbell, bereaved mother of Sarah Elizabeth Campbell, 18, who died in the so-called care of Styal Prison in 2003.
(3) The protest on Tuesday 5 February 2008, for the duration of the afternoon, will be the 28th demonstration to be held outside women's prisons in England since protests began in April 2004.
(4) Flowers will be laid outside the jail in memory of Ms Marley, and banners displayed.

(6) 41 women have died in prison custody since the death of Sarah Elizabeth Campbell in January 2003.
(7) Figures refer to apparently self-inflicted deaths (England & Wales).
