With less than 100 days left for London Mayoral elections, a reported (by BNP that is) 250 scum were leafletting a supposed large number of leaflets (they say 100,000 BNP "londoner" leaflets -see image) were handed out.

All I can say is Fuck Me. Are anarchists and antifascists so pacified by this society that there is little or no energy to mobilise against this? Are we really going to let the BNP gain massive ground in London due to our own lack of activity. I may agree that there are some who have been involved in tireless antifascist activity for decades now, and Antifa has in a way help build up co-ordination across the country BUT antifa cells are not going to definite the BNP. What is are LARGE militant mobilisations when they do turn out like last week. We need to get 250 people on the streets handing out leaflets to our fellow working class brethen. We need to build a combative pro-working class anarchist movement in London and across the UK...and if we don't we should stop calling ourselves anarchist and fuck off to LibCom.

I agree...we should be mobilizing against the BNP.

this was obviously organised on the stealth by the BNP, who will be making the most of their internal party structure for communication over events like this.

i absolutely agree that we need to be mobilising against this kind of shit.

however, we cant do that if we dont know its gonna happen...we need some kind of intelligence about these activities if we are to turn up to challenge them

so where do we start...?

I might be wrong, but maybe by adding some bnp groups on myspace (under a different account I would suggest), they might bulletin about these sort of events...?

I don't see how out on the streets we're going to find out about this sort of activity, unless people regularly associate with nationalists and nazi's.
