BOGOTA, January 22nd, 2008 - The Colombian Association of University Students (ACEU), demonstrates
its indignation and disgust as opposed to the barbarian MURDER OF ALIRIO
QUIÑONEZ, agrarian youth leader and member of the Central Committee of Colombian Communist Youth.
its indignation and disgust as opposed to the barbarian MURDER OF ALIRIO
QUIÑONEZ, agrarian youth leader and member of the Central Committee of Colombian Communist Youth.
This crime constitutes once more a proof of the State terrorism, lack of democratic guarantees for the political
opposition and is the result of the supposed process of peace that, with in head the president Alvaro Uribe Velez, tries to give political recognition to the paramilitary groups that even continue assassinating the Colombian people, protected under mantle of the Law of Justice and Peace.
We offer our more felt condolences to the family, friends and comrades of the JUCO, while we reaffirm our unbreakable conviction and commitment in the
construction of peace in Colombia, which is solely possible by means of a political and negotiated exit to the social and armed conflict.
With the murder of Alirio, «they tried to exterminate the voice that
redimensionned the meaning of the echo, the voice that sculpted the freedom
with the profile of its blood. They pushed above the cliff his body like a water block, tearing the plains to bury the memory of the expropriated ones, after them the judgment of the bloodhounds is perpetuated and after the bloodhounds the indomitable arm of popular justice.»
Companion ALIRIO QUIÑONEZ!
Present, Present, Present....!
Until when...?
