NoBorders organising meeting

If you are aware of the NoBorders network and sypathetic to its aims, this is a chance to get involved in organising for the month ahead in Manchester. If you are not sure that you want to commit to organising then you are welcome to come and listen. Where? Upstairs at Falafel restaurant/takeaway on Oxford Rd (the Total Garage end of Rusholme)

When? Saturday 26th January
2 - 2.30pm lunch/informal chat
2.30 - 4.30pm Meeting
4. 30 pm onwards, informal chat/discussion at nearby pub/cafe, depending on how people feel.

Amongst the topics we will cover shall be;
- discussing possibilities for April call to action for squats and autonomous spaces, see  http://april2008.squat.net/en/ 
- continuing our initial plan to collate information around immigration controls- make a plan for this research to get done.
- national gathering preparation (the NoBorders national gathering will take place in Manchester for the weekend 15th Feb.)
- update on the film night in february
- prospect of demonstrating at dallas court
- tackle at least one of our questions on what noborders is
- throw around some interesting ideas for things we could do
- some kind of informal open discussion/catch up
