Sizewell Protest

Protesters went to Sizewell nuclear power station to say that nuclear power is not the answer to climate change. There is also a video of their last "get your head out of the sand" protest.
The Sizewell nuclear power station was blockaded twice last year. With the government announcement on nuclear power they again made their way down to Sizewell. However, expecting a large police/security presence they did not attempt to blockade. There was media interest from Channel 4 and PressTV (Iranian TV) and subsequent interviews for BBC and Look East (local BBC).
There is a video of their last action at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ti73TfSFSJU
Despite all the media coverage there are many issues surrounding nuclear power that have not been mentioned. For example the vast amount of CO2 emitted by the mining and milling process (see http://www.wise-uranium.org/).
The protesters will be back.
