O dear, poor old ftp - aka freethepeeps (real name Roy Bard) not content with day and after day embarrassing the UK Kollective with his near obsession with all things Jewish now the whole Tony Greenstein / Gilad Atzmon affair has finally pushed him over the edge !

He set up a blog, commented on news sites and spammed web pages all over the world trying to defend his indefensible position on Jews and now he has taken to making crappy recordings of Atzmon while at the same time other IMC Admins look at their feet in embarrassed silence as they consider the daily damage being done to the Indymedia reputation by his ignorance and fear of Jews.

Of course he will feel better knowing he has the support of David Duke and Jordan Thornton who like to use the word Zionist to excuse their bigotry - strange bedfellows indeed but then I suppose when fighting the great Jewish machine which is really running the world and US foreign policy you need all the friends you can get don't you Roy ?

We wonder when the other admins will show some guts, some backbone and some character and finally show this man the door - next week, next month, next year ? Don't hold your breath. The last two admins who put their heads above the parapet were hit with a near libelous serious of personal attacks that caused them both to leave the Stalinist Junta running the UK site and wash their hands of the project.

How long before somebody has the guts to stop the UK site being turned into Roy's webpage so he can spend all his time defending and supporting those individuals who see the great Jewish conspiracy everywhere ?

An excellent post on Roy's own blog put it nicely,

As Indymedia continues to descend into the pigswill of anti-antisemitism while the original founders walk away having been pushed into the wilderness the only good news is that Roy's attempt to defend his views have bought him and the anti-semitic nature of Indymedia to a wider audience, an audience who are now gearing up to fight the Fascism of the Left when it attempts to portray itself as something else.

Freethepeeps, incidentally, listed "The People's Voice" as one of those supposedly progressive, not-at-all-antisemitic sites that welcomes the writing of Gilad Atzmon. Seems that Freethepeeps has a much different definition than most people of what constitutes "progressive." And apparently he's got a much different definition of antisemitism, if he can not only talk to Atzmon without puking.

Meanwhile, Atzmon tells us on Socialist Unity that he's "not against Jews, just against Jewishness."

And folks like peeps eat that up, call him a hero, and beg for more.

I have no reason to believe that ftp is an antisemite, just that he does not combat antisemitism the same way he would combat other prejudices. He has political reasons for this.
