North West Vegan Festival - all welcome

Ronny | 02.12.2007 15:11 | Animal Liberation | Education | Free Spaces | Liverpool

Sat 26th January 2008 10am-6pm, Sachas Hotel, Tib St, just off Piccadilly Gardens. A free event with loads of free info and food samples available, aimed at everyone who is exploring the vegan lifestyle as a positive way to reduce their environmental impact.

This event will mark the 50th Birthday of Manchester animal rights/green campaigner Neil Lea, who sadly died earlier this year. We're getting together a whole range of small businesses and campaigning groups, whose stalls will offer a tasty range of snacks and cakes, fair-trade clothes, books, ethical cosmetics and other stuff. Please get in touch if you'd like to have a stall or help out on the day.

Weepy - In what way do people on a plant-based diet fart any more than anyone else? You'll find this is an old stereotype. They certainly don't fart nearly as much as cows!

Tim - This is a free event, and there will be lots of sharing of food samples as well as info.
