TODAY TEENAGERS GATHERED OUTSIDE THE CORN EXCHANGE IN LEEDS TO SHOW OPPOSITION TO ZURICH AND THEIR PLANS TO TURN THE ALTERNATIVE CENTRE INTO A FOOD EMPORIUM FOR THE RICH

Some of them stood on the steps and sung "We shall not be moved" and the public were asked to sign the petition to 'Save the Corn Exchange'. Thousands of signatures were gathered and the public who showed immense support for the cause.

Later on in the day some teenagers scaled the roof and chanted 'Save the Corn-X' as well as holding a big sign. Passers by gave thumbs up and cheered at the protesters.

---------------------

Zurich have used bully boy tactics and threatened any of those renting space inside the Corn Exchange with immediate eviction if they talk to the media.

You can gag those giving you money, but you can't use threats against us!
