London Anarchist Federation - Antifa | 17.11.2007 20:06 | Anti-racism | Repression | Social Struggles | London | World

A memorial for Carlos, murdered spanish antifascist, and a protest against the banning of the antifascist demo that had been called for that day.
Meet at 12 by the International Brigades Monument @ Southbank
Jubilee Gardens, close to the London Eye.

On 11th November 2007, Carlos, a militant antifascist from Madrid was stabbed in the heart by a member of a Nazi party on his way to a racist demo that had been allowed by the government. This week only there will be up to 4 events called by different fascist groups in Madrid, which have been legalised by the local authorities. But the main antifascist demo called for the 24th has been banned.
To honour the memory of a fallen comrade, and to hold here the protest that has not been allowed in Spain, we are calling a concentration on that day.

Antifascist Concentration Saturday 24th November.
