Uk activists report from No Borders Camp Mexicali/Calexico.
Peaceful protesters beaten & pepper sprayed.

Sunday November 11th.
After a wonderful joint, cross border camp with activists on both sides of the
USA/Mexico border - fence we moved from the camp in a caravan of walkers & cars, buses towards the town of Mexical/Calexico.
A town split in half by a metal wall.

We we`re in a jubilant mood, handing out leaflets to passersby-
many who joined us and beeped their car horns in support.
And we played football over the fence.

As we danced, sang, drummed, chanted & kissed across the border, on both side of the fence/wall/border the La Migra - Border Patrol / militarized government force began grabbing/tackling people to the ground on the U$A side and
started shooting pepper balls at them, into the crowd.
Shoots were fired directly into / at peoples bodies.
Many shoots were fired and 2 people were beaten badly and arrested.
The crowd on the U$A side was then rounded up on the ground with their hands over their
heads and eventually allowed to leave in groups of 5.

Awaiting report of condition of arrested / injured people.

Gigantes/Puppets being held by Border Patrol as evidence.
