On 10 November 2006 four people were hospitalised during the protest, countless others received leg, arm and head injuries.
On 9 November 2007 the local community and protestors returned, some 400 in all, as the “no arrest” policy reached its first year of enforcement. This time demonstrators breached security and occupied the Shell Corrib Gas construction site. One gate was blocked by protestors and human road blockades were formed.
One protestor was hospitalised when a truck ran over their foot and there were reports of several arrests.
So what better time to release "Policing The Pollution: "Don't Mention The Water."
A joint collaboration of filmmakers, photographers, musicians and high-speed graphics artists.
This film brings the Shell-To-Sea campaign up-to-date and proves, despite independent and mainstream news coverage, Shell continues to pollute the water supply and no one is holding them to account.
