You obviously have no idea what kind of racist violent shite people can write in their comments. It's worse than the Mail on Sunday, and it's thanks to the IMC volunteers that you don;t have to wade through them every time you read a piece.

See the indymedia editorial guidelines for what comes off. If you do want to read that kind of stuff, it's a free world. There are designated sites - the BNP have one, I believe.

Are you calling for an Anglo-Saxon England or what? Moderating comments is necessary to prevent a potentially useful activist resource from being flooded by Nazi trolls and wankers banging on about irrelevant shit like 9/11 conspiracy theories and "English tribal sovereignty". I'm fine with the red stars staying - Mao and Stalin also co-opted the language of freedom and equality, so I suppose you think we should stop using those concepts as well? Have fun battling against indymedia, the rest of us will carry on fighting against the real enemies.
