Massive Israeli Aggression To Follow Annapolis PR Event

Zionism Intends to Wipe Palestine Off the Map | 10.11.2007 15:08 | Anti-racism | World

As support and sympathy for Israel and its ruling Extremists steadily deteriorates, it appears that their intentions are to create facts on the ground and eliminate much of what remains of Palestine, before they're forced to end their decades-long war.

ISRAEL ADMITS THERE WILL BE NO PEACE AFTER THE SUMMIT
Desert Peace

November 7, 2007

It looks like Israel is realy serious about the upcoming 'peace talks'... according to the Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak (which btw means lightening in Hebrew), there will not be a planned invasion of the Balata refugee camp until AFTER the talks are finished.... key word is AFTER.

In other words, Israel has already admitted that NOTHING WILL CHANGE as a result of the talks. And you, my dear American readers are paying for that farce with your tax dollars....

The following short report deals with this.....

Barak: Nablus and Gaza invasions will be postponed until after Annapolis Summit

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced late on Tuesday night that he was calling off a planned invasion of the Balata refugee camp, near the West Bank city of Nablus, according to Israeli media sources. The announcement comes just hours after a similar statement about delaying an attack on the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military has invaded Balata camp and the city of Nablus nearly every night since 2002, allegedly to abduct so-called 'wanted' Palestinians.

Occasionally the Israeli military has engaged in more wide-scale invasions of the camp and surrounding areas, resulting in many casualties of Palestinian fighters and civilians.

But the latest invasion planned for the Nablus area has apparently been called off, says Barak, because the Palestinian Authority security forces under the command of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas have taken control of the city, and will do the Israeli military's work there.

Barak is hoping the move will gain some credibility for Israel, as the Annapolis Peace Summit, planned for November 26th, quickly approaches. Such a move, according to analysts, may also be an attempt to draw attention away from Israel's failure to carry out any of its commitments under signed agreements with the Palestinians.

Long-Planned Gaza Assault Imminent?

When the Palestinians respond, just remember who started all this, and direct your anger at them.
And of course, our Zionist-loyal "Government" won't so anything about this.

The timing is interesting, given the upcoming "Annapolis Conference", which serves to be about PR alone, as Olmert has already ruled out any Negotiations or Compromise in the name of peace.

If you follow the events surrounding Israel's "Disengagement" from Gaza, you will quickly understand that this was the plan all along. While Israel was making a public spectacle of "forcing Jews to leave their homes", it was quietly surrounding the Strip with artillery emplacements, in an operation ominously named "First Rain".

Under this operation, Gaza basically became a "Free-Fire Zone", and several artillery and gunship strikes killed a high number of civilians. Finally, when one of these batteries fired upon and murdered a Palestinian family - picnicking on a beach that had been Segregated "Jews Only" only weeks before, Hamas finally decided to call an end to its unilateral, two-year cease-fire.

(In essence, they took Israel's bait. After all, you can't excuse your Aggression and label it "defense" if you're not being intermittently attacked. Never mind the hypocrisy underlying the entire media's framing of that whole debate ...)

When the Palestinians responded by electing Hamas to power (yes, elected), Israeli Extremists and their Ideological, bought foreign co-conspirators imposed unilateral sanctions on Gaza, a bit of Collective Punishment which increased the hardship of those stuck in the world's largest Concentration Camp.

When they felt Gaza had been substantially weakened, the US and Israel undertook a Coup attempt, using corrupt elements within the Fatah Party, provoking a violent response by Hamas, which expelled the group. Most of the world's media ignored the events leading to this "crisis", and instead only repeated the Propaganda emanating from the US and Israel, which used this to further increase sanctions against Gaza.

Most recently, Israel stepped up its Collective Punishment, except that human rights groups and legal advisors to the Government halted some of its approved measures, because they run contrary to International Humanitarian Law.

This was sold as another "response to rocket attacks" (again highlighting the hypocrisy of the debate's Framing - are the Palestinians allowed to defend themselves from strikes which actually KILL people ... ?), even though high-ranking officials said that this was NOT, in fact, a response to these attacks, but a way to "distance Israel from Gaza's infrastructure".

The real reason for this whole episode, of course, has been to "soften up" the Gaza Strip for a long-planned military attack, a way to undermine the resolve, and hopefully rid this territory of Palestinians altogether.

Of course, the corporate media says none of this, unless you're able to read between the lines. Then it's all right there in black 'n white ...

Report: After Annapolis, Israel will make war on Hamas Army in Gaza
By Israel Insider staff November 9, 2007

Once upon a time, the Government of Israel would make war against the Palestinian Authority. Now, apparently, Olmert's coalition is giving the PA the timing and scope of its battle plans.

(Actually, they supported Hamas in order to fracture the PA, to prevent future peace talks.)

According to the Friday edition of the London based Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Jerusalem has informed PA authorities in Ramallah of its intention to send the IDF into the Gaza Strip to regain control of the Philadelphi Corridor and to put an end to Hamas smuggling of weapons and cash through tunnels from Egypt.

And disclosure of the battle plan is not limited to the Palestinians. According to the report, Israel has told several Arab states that, following conclusion of the Annapolis conference, reportedly scheduled to begin on November 29, the IDF will embark on an extensive operation in the Strip.

Palestinian sources obtained explicit information from the Israelis, detailing that in the first stage of the operation, Israel would seek to regain control of Rafah and a wide swathe along the Egypt-Gaza border as far north as Khan Yunis, the paper said. The second stage will reportedly include an incursion into the central and northern Gaza Strip, the areas from which most rocket fire against Israeli civilian populations has been emanating.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi reports that PA leader Mahmoud Abbas is doing his best to thwart the plan that the Israelis so generously disclosed. Abbas reportedly rejected out of hand Israel's plan to recapture the Philadelphi Corridor and plans to send emissaries to countres in the region to bring pressure on Israel to stop its planned incursion.

As Zionism's support and sympathy steadily wanes, this appears to be a final push for them to drive out Palestinians, and annex their land.
