Salut comrades,
Having spent four years imprisoned after their arrest in Barcelona on the 16th of September 2003, two of the four remaining imprisoned comrades have obtained a 3rd degree of imprisonment, which entails having to return to prison to sleep (Igor) or back to a prison depending flat (Carol). These situations ocurred after they had been progressively transferred to Can Brians prison, except for Joaquin who was transferred to Castellón prison.
After the prison director’s promise that they would receive 3rd degree imprisonment progressively after enjoying a few weekend home permits and keeping their agreement with Igor and Carol, we now find that being Rafa’s turn for his weekend home permits which will then lead him to 3rd degree, they have been denied!
This is the only way they have to torture him psychologically and punish him for his anarchic and rebellious attitude after all these years of imprisonment and supposed “bad behaviour and lack of adaptation to life in the module”.
We ask everyone to show solidarity and send faxes to Can Brians prison as a way of putting pressure and so we can see Rafa out in the streets soon.
The date is this coming Thursday the 8th of November, faxes should be sent in between 8 and 14 with whichever slogan you find convenient, we propose:
- Freedom for Rafa
- Freedom for anarquist prisoners, Free Rafa NOW!
- Rafael Tomás Gaspar Llibertat!
