Major Council Housing public meeting this Thursday

Sheffield Welfare Action Network | 04.11.2007 12:55 | Sheffield

A meeting worth going to...

Many many people in Sheffield are now very worried abouts the abysmal situation regarding current council housing, waiting lists, etc, and the knock on effects that it can have on those of us in the private rented sector, etc, I came across this notice for a major meeting on the issues: it has some good speakers, LTF are particularly effective and innovative in their home town.. However, the number of speakers means if you go you should make sure that the organisers are kept to the bit about about the public 'contributing to this vital debate.' SWAN will be attending to make sure the voice of those on low income, benefits, disabled people are heard.
