The Blairite leadership of the National Union of Students are seeking to launch a series of major attacks on NUS democracy - to rule out future student revolts radicalising NUS, and make the student movement safe for Brown. Please come to the meeting on 4 November to launch a campaign against these changes, and for a democratic, fighting NUS.
There will be a meeting to launch a united campaign to defend NUS democracy and win a democratic, campaigning NUS this Sunday, 4 November, 12-4pm at Birkbeck College in London. Sponsors include Plymouth SU, SOAS SU, Middlesex SU, Education Not for Sale and Student Respect.
Please try to bring a delegation from your college or university, campaigning group etc along so we can build the strong possible campaign.
