Making traveller children cry

Police sprayed children with gas in dorset car park

Some weeks ago, a group of travellers had gone to town to go shopping; leaving their van in a station car park. Some of them had a few drinks. The police arrived as they were about to return to site, jumping on one person and pinning him to the ground. When other people asked what the problem was, the police said they wanted to discuss shoplifting. many people felt this was a heavy handed way of making an arrest, let alone enquiries. They made their feelings known and the police reacted by spraying many people, including young children under 7 with gas. With the children frightened and crying, people were, understandably ANGRY and arrests were made. The travellers were then evicted twice in three days, making it much harder to contact solicitors. The police claim there was no CCTV footage. In a station car park in Dorset, England, somehow I doubt it. Last heard, the cases were going to crown court.
