Softstart UK joins the unique BuyEng™ Online Marketplace

For the first time East Anglian company Softstart UK Ltd are selling their Motor Starters and Control Equipment directly online using the newly launched
BuyEng™ Marketplace.

This is a natural progression for Softstart UK Ltd. Having won the Great Yarmouth ‘Spirit of Enterprise Award’ in 2007 they have quickly developed into a £1m distributor of electrical starters, brakes, relays, and control equipment to industrial users. Now they intend to find new customers and new markets in collaboration with BuyEng™.

Softstart UK Managing Director Stuart Harvey is pleased with the arrangement with
BuyEng™. “They came to us with a simple but effective way for smaller companies
like us to sell their products directly online. At this stage in our growth we were still a couple of years away from a significant investment of time and money into a
shopping website of our own. This was an opportunity to get ahead of plan with a
low cost, quick, and simple entry into the online market.”

BuyEng™ is run by another East Anglian company Prosper Online Ltd and is aiming to sell products from the smaller Engineering and Manufacturing companies, including distributors, on its Marketplace at buyeng.co.uk. Its Customers are likely to be other small businesses and enthusiasts.

Managing Director Michael Bezance says “It’s a bit like having a stall on Cambridge
market. The many Sellers provide their own products and operate independently.
But together they make a very attractive online shop for Customers who can then
buy products from several Sellers but pay just once. A link on the sellers own
website also brings their own Customers directly to their products”

BuyEng™ is delighted to work with Softstart UK. According to Director Paul Spinks
“Successful companies like Softstart UK are always looking to grow and expand. They are only going to work with partners who will help them achieve their goals. Softstart UK have an excellent reputation in their industry and in choosing to work with us they have given BuyEng™ a big vote of confidence.”

The BuyEng™ Marketplace can be found at www.buyeng.co.uk. Softstart UK is at
www.softstartuk.com.
