New photographic evidence has surfaced proving Philadelphia police lied under oath, tampered with evidence at the scene and fabricated a witness.
The photographs published by photojournalist Pedro Polakoff show a police officer with his hand all over the gun, destroying any fingerprint evidence, then testified he under oath the gun was not tampered with.
The hat of downed officer Faulkner was also moved from Mumia's brother's VW car to the pavement, where it was documented at the scene as where it fell when Faulkner was shot.
Photographs also prove the witness, a cab-driver called Robert Chobert, who alleged he saw everything, was never at the scene, as in minutes the entire area was closed by police, making it impossible for a car to leave the scene. Yet the photogrpahs show the area where Chobert's car should be, to be empty, a vacant parking space.
