Approx 20 people turned up and successively blocked entrances to garage. this lasted for 2 hours many drivers supported our actions and were happy to turn back. Some drivers pushed through normal comment was get a job.Flyers were given to all, local police arrived and showed little interest, this seemed to annoy Nigel (garage manager).
Another good day for us with bad day for total Cardiff

Get a job!

Since this action was on a Saturday, surely these people want you to get a job where you have to work on a Saturday. Ergo, they should also "get a job". You don't have to be Jacques Derrida to deconstruct that one. Dontcha just love reactionary cliches!

Another great Total action. All much needed pressure on the company (and all who are still propping up the undemocratic and repressive military regime in Burma).

There will be further actions targeting Total in London this week, so if you can, please come along and support:

Wednesday 17th October, 8.30am-10.30am, demo / die-in at Total HQ, 33 Cavendish Square (Oxford Circus tube)

Thursday 18th October: a Total garage in central London during the evening rush hour - details to be confirmed soon

Plus demo outside Burmese embassy, 19A Charles St, near Berkeley Square (Green Park tube) every week day, 12-1pm.

Details on Total actions nationwide and other info here:
