A612 Bus Plug Road Kill Two Squirrels dead

If a couple of squirrels get squashed who cares... but what if it's your child, granny or partner that walks out onto the Burton Road Bus Plug, thinking they have right of way...

Bus Plug Road Kill- 2 squirrels dead

It was the birds that did it.

Birdsong was getting out of all proportion on the Burton road bus plug.

Cheeping and chattering, whooping and circling, apparently not threatened by early morning pedestrians on their way to the 100 bus stop, must have convinced the squirrels that it was ok to cross the road.

They must have been mad. Did they have no memory of the toll of hedgehog death from the old A612?

Irresponsibly crossing the road. Childishly, recklessly. Playing chicken were they?

And now two are dead, maybe because they were killed by illegal traffic. Or not.
