A Short Video report on the days event when the demo called by the anti- war coalition marched towards parliament sq despite the Police intially telling them they couldn't eventually were given permission.

A year to the day of the notorious sack parliament demo where 200 cops used draconian SOCPA law to corall 40 protesters in at Parliament Sq, The Stop War coalition were weirdly granted permission to march through Whitehall and were given a virtual free reign of the area. With hardly any poilce intervention, escort or riot police throughout the whole march. Meanwhile back in parliament Gordon Brown announced plans for the troops withdrawal whilst Brian Haws fanclub were ripping up fences and George Galloway smiled alot.

from Brian's totally inspiring speech to the actual pulling down of the fences around Parliament Square (hooray).....it's just a shame that the StW stewards frogmarched some of those who entered the Square to come away and carry on with the march past Parliament - EH??!!!?? Next time guys and gals don't take orders so lightly!!
