'Fresh' Project at Ecoworks, St Ann's Allotments

In the middle of St.Anns is a green oasis of allotment gardens. Ecoworks, is a community space there and a local food / sustainability project.

The Fresh Project Gardens, are part of Ecoworks, are located within the St Anns Allotment site, very close to the community centre.

FRESH = Food, Regeneration, Education, Sustainable Harvest

Fresh is a social enterprise which aims to make organically grown fruit and vegetables available and affordable to all, as well as reducing food miles. FRESH also delivers horticultural training to young unemployed people and offers educational activities in environmental and healthy living for all.

Fruit and vegetables are sold locally as cheap as possible. Weekly veg box deliveries to your door within 3 miles radius of St Ann's allotments on fridays. £7 / £9 unwaged / waged. The also supply a couple of cafes in town.

Ecoworks and this project are always on the look out for volunteers. Hope you can help.
