An asylum seeker that was leaving Lunar House started to get very agitated whilst shouting “they are not human!”. The police, amassed for the no border camp gathering, moved to restrain him by violently pushing him to the ground. The asylum seeker was all the time screaming and crying. He was handcuffed behind his back, and his face pushed to the ground injuring his cheek. He was arrested. Meanwhile protesters challenged the police about their behaviour and took photos and film of the brutal arrest. The asylum seeker has been taken away in a police van. One of those present has said: “fucking hell, it was so horrible”.
