Liverpool Indymedia night this Wednesday!

Liverpool IMC | 17.09.2007 21:24 | Indymedia | Liverpool

The Indymedia info night on Wednesday will consist of a
short presentation introducing Indymedia, and then give people a chance to
try out posting articles to Indymedia, with advice & help on hand from the
Liverpool Indymedia volunteer collective.

People are welcome to drop in any
time during the evening, so it doesn't matter if you can't make it for the
7.30 start. Ring the bell for the Social Centre (the basement bell on the
door next to News From Nowhere Bookshop)

If you like the idea of reporting grassroots community/activist news via
indymedia, but maybe don't feel that confident with computers or the
internet, come along and have a go. If you have an article ready prepared
bring it, or just make up a dummy article on the night. Or if you want to
ask about preparing photos to put up on Indymedia, we can advise on that.
And if you want to get more involved in Indymedia itself, come along & find
out how it's organised & ask any questions you might have.

And if (too many ifs!) you have knowledge and experience of e.g.
writing/journalism, photography & video on the internet, come along and
share it!

If you can't make it this week, then the Liverpool Indymedia collective
meets on the fourth Tuesday every month in the Social Centre.
