You had the right to peacefully protest against the NF march just like the local whites have the right after the announcement by the then police commisionar that 70% of muggers were black and 70% of their victims were white to exercise their right to make their feelings known. Or do you enjoy being mugged and walking the streets in fear?
In a supposed democracy you don't have the right to engage in violence to stifle anyone else's law abiding democratic rights and freedom of expression. When you engage in a violent act against peaceful law abiding demonstartors then it's perfectly legitimate that you are arrested.
The fact the left in britain have never been able to deal with the concept of democracy and other people's political freedoms without trying to censor people with violence is somehow heroic?
