An ex resident of Norris Green Winifred Robinson and who now is a presnter for Radio 4 came to Norris Green to make a programme about the gangs.During the programme she talks to one of Merseyside's police superintendents.Asking him why the gangs were allowed to decorate the Strand shops with flowers.he say's he has only been in the Norris Green area since January and had he been there at the time he would not have allowed the gang to have any rights and would have taken them down.Why then on the anniversary of Liam Smiths death were the Strand shops decked out with flowers again?And for some days after?Were was this super then?Listen to the programme here.
