RG360 WPC Knowles - Stalking activists to keep us all safe

After a policefull demo outside the Radisson Edwardian Mayfair Hotel, in Stratton Street W1, WPC Knowles and her Sargeant buddy then followed protestors to the pub, on a train and into a hospital.

We left without them.

And into the hospital

The demo against the Janes Defence Conference was heavily outpigged. As the leader of the Fallujah Massacre and the Head of Nato forces in Afghanistan boasted of their ability to murder people in far away lands inside the hotel, a group of about 30 protestors spent their time avoiding the pig pen that has become such a common feature of demos in the city whose cops think that the Stasi is a wonderful role model.

A bike mounted sound system played some tunes, and Veggies arrived with snacks to keep spirits up, as plenty of cops did their impersonation of milk monitors, inventing petty rules to enforce their awthority.

After 90 minutes or so, I left with a small group to go for something a wee bit stronger than Veggies coffee. FIT rose to the challenge, attaching themselves to individuals and following us to the pub.

After a wee dram, myself and an activist who had been injured in a ludicrous wrongful arrest earlier in the day set off for the Minor Injuries Unit at Guys, with WPC Knowles and her Sarge in hot pursuit. They followed us onto a train at Charing Cross, and then into Guys. On the way we gave them a little run. At this stage WPC Knowles was still in full Stasi mode and made disparaging comments about how fit we were.

Into the Minor Injuries Unit we went, and the coppers followed us in, like lingering farts. Off to the x-ray dept next - and oh deary me, suddenly WPC Knowles wasn't so clever. A few steps and corners and she lost us. We left the hospital without our unwanted escorts and didn't see them again.

Lets hope she sleeps well tonight, knowing that her efforts were so worthwhile, and that London is safer than ever.
