Identity in Britain

Twenty years ago London homeless people might have known Beth. It is very rare for an Academic to know what they are talking about.

So the question of homelessness was put to an Author of the new book "Identity in Britain; A Cradle to Grave Atlas" by Bethan Thomas and Danny Dorling, The reply was "There are no statistics".

So who should be collecting those statistics? or who hides them? About five years ago the Officer commanding the British Army in a province stated "It is very bad that about thirty percent of the homeless are ex services people." Is Army intelligence better than Labour Government intelligence?

The book is due out now. If you do not know who you are, or where you belong in Britain, get your local Library to get a copy for you to read. It should be quite enlightening.
