Sehabden Family urgent help needed

Najunnissa & Abdullah Campaign | 07.09.2007 15:38 | Anti-racism | Migration

Umer deported, Najunnissa & Abdullah, still in the UK but facing removal this Sunday

The Sehabden family were torn apart on Wednesday night. They were all
taken to the airport but Najunnissa became visibly unwell and
officials decided that she was unfit to fly. It is not clear if the
officials were doctors or para medics. Umer was put onto the plane
and that is the last that has been heard of him. Mother and child
were returned to Yarl's Wood.

Najunnissa has phoned all the contacts she knows in Sri Lanka to try
and locate her husband, but there is no news.

Yesterday immigration decided that Najunnissa was fit to fly and have
reset removal directions for this Sunday 9th September to Sri Lanka
on flight UL506, leaving Heathrow at 14.35hrs (This is the same
flight as the Uthayakumar family).

Speaking from Yarl's Wood this morning, Najunnissa said she was in a
lot of pain. When asked about the new removal directions she said "I
do not want to leave the UK until I find out where my husband is".

The campaign have updated attached model letters and are asking you
once again to try and stop this deportation.
