In this early phase while it builds to critical size the Southampton No 2 ID group aims to raise awareness of the ID card and National Identity Register issue locally with actions including:

*alerting readers of Southcoast Indymedia of our existence (hey, this is it!)

*targetted leaflet distribution

*street stalls

*even setting up Facebook and MySpace pages!

We will aim to update Indymedia readers of interesting developments.

More people are welcome to the next meeting which will be on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Dolphin pub in St Denys, next to St Denys Railway station.
