A Short Poem

Steve Mclean | 04.09.2007 20:59 | Animal Liberation

A Short Story of Woe.........

Steve Mclean could eat no fat
Bruce could eat no lean
And so betwixt the two of them
They licked the platter clean

Steve ate all the lean,
Bruce ate all the fat.
The bone they picked it clean,
Then gave it to the cat
Steve was wheeling,
Bruce by the ditch.
The barrow turned over,
And in it he did pitch.

Says Steve, "He'll be drowned!"
But Bruce did reply,
"I don't think I shall,
For the ditch is quite dry.".
