Why backers of crap Crossrail want £30+ BN of Taxpayers - Superlink's address

Crossrail - the £30 billion millstone for taxpayers | 04.09.2007 15:40

I did not know the proper address for Superlink but I found it so here it is - no doubt Crossrail have been trying to sabotage the truth coming out but hey...

If I did not know the address of Superlink, the alternative to Crossrail. I can hardly be backing them but I will say that if successful railway planners, who have delivered successful railway projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Eurotunnel are saying the scheme is rubbish while at the same time giving you the true cost of their scheme and its benefits without £400 million of taxpayers money that Crossrail spent - Why is a Select Committee chosen by Blair, the Government and Ken so ready to give taxpayers money away without Crossrail being subject to proper investigation? The backers of Crossrail on this website have been asked to provide the proof of how it will provide benefits outside the City and Canary Wharf in London and guarantee that taxpayers will not be left with a financial millstone. Guess what there is silence.

Businesses who claim to back Crossrail will not underwrite the scheme - they are proposing a contribution that is fixed in time and value. The City on behalf of businesses have made claims about paying for Crossrail before in the press - Nothing tangible has come out because it is nothing other than gimmicks. This time they have employed a propaganda City thinktank funded by Lord Sainsbury. Knighted for who knows what, perhaps trying to force Genetically Modified Organisms down the throats of the public.

There is no evidence that Crossrail is good for London - if you can find it, many people might even be interested in such a project. The Crossrail scheme for which permission is sought, is good for the City in fact the City tell us it is vital and without it - the future of London is at stake. But oddly enough the City do not want to pay for a rail scheme that primarily benefits them. I wonder why?

Crossrail is guaranteed to be a financial millstone under the watchful eye of Sir Montague the tax abuser. Crossrail has been rightly described as the Millennium Dome of public transport schemes but I think of it more as an Olympic size Eurotunnel in terms of what they are trying to force taxpayers to accept.

On Ken Livingstone - Ken Livingstone is a City stooge who gets his orders from the City. He is nothing short of a gangster, who hides his racist policies by schmoozing the powerful monied and political set of the groups his policies set to destroy. This is no different to the Bush family, they are friends with the Bin Ladens but the ordinary people are left to suffer while a handful of gangsta types fix things up for their own personal gain. Ken's track record on transport is a joke. You mention he was against PPP but he is also responsible for Bob Kiley. This can hardly be described as a transport vision. Kiley is a drunk who oddly enough with his US links remember Bechtel are involved really wants Crossrail to go ahead. Ken livingstone just schmoozes people he is worried by and buys off those keen to sell their allegiances. I think is called the Mafia.

People of honour are treated to gansta treatment whether its coppers like John Yates investigating the cash for honours corruption or people involved in the Standards and Ethics Committee - Filkin. For instance, read Greg Pallast's book on Democracy - it tells you what you can buy and who can organise it for you - guess what these wormy people are still around...
