Iraq war casualties question

peoples republic of southwark | 02.09.2007 13:44 | Iraq

would anyone know where I can get the most uptodate numbers for both the military and civilian casualties? i've had a look at the IBC and a few other sites but am not sure which one is actually the most comprehensive and most accurate?

thanks

The Iraq Body Cound figures are WAY off, no doubt it's over a million:

If considering not only violent deaths but also all indirect deaths resulting from the lack of everything.

All planned since the start.

violent deaths

What is not being taken into consideration when counting the Iraqi death total, are the deaths being caused as a result of suicide, malnutrition and the lack of access to medical supplies.

To claim that the only counted deaths are those by acts of violence is rediculous as it also excludes the deaths of those Iraqis displaced in refugee camps, those who have died in US/Iraqi Custody/prisons and those who have died as a result of out breaks, such as the latest Cholera outbreak in Northern Iraq.

With most Iraqis being scarred to even enter most hospitals, mortuaries and Iraqs Ministry of Interior, it is unknown as to the exact death toll within the country.
