Gaza is the worlds biggest concentration camp / prison, the people are still resisting and due to their situation (and the situation in the wider world, this is true of all our resistance movements, no?) this resistance is screwed up - full of idiots, religious freaks, extremists, contradictions etc to the point where israel now can more or less just sit back satisfied at the situation they have created.

is an enormous war crime - Israel is in breach of more UN resolutions than any other country

and has only been possible and is continued to be allowed to happen because of the US interests in regional politics, the zionist lobby in the US (eg AIPAC) and the european guilt complexes.

Why Israel / Palestine?
For me because its closest to Europe, its the most full on example of state repression and injustice to another people in our time / space and the situation here has the most knock on effects to the world at large.
