Centre for Cities - Funded by untrustworthy GM supporter Lord Sainsbury

No to Lord Sainsbury funder of Centre for Cities business group | 30.08.2007 13:00

The Centre for Cities thinktank which commissioned PriceWaterhouseCooper to say that businesses could fund such schemes as London's Crossrail as long as the following caveats are paramount ( ring-fenced (guaranteed amount), time-limited (not for thirty years) and clearly supported by local businesses (harm small businesses at the cost of big business) is FUNDED by LORD SAINBURY the man who spearheaded a campaign to force public to genetically modified foods in Government. Would you trust him?

Stop Crossrail
Stop Lord Sainsbury
Stop Ken Livingstone
Stop airport expansion
Stop corruption
Stop GM foods

Which Sainsbury funded the Social Democrats to split away from Labour to let in Thatcher? Is it the same one that is now New Labour?

If you are serious about being against City agent Sainsbury take a look at the multilingual site  http://www.nodo50.org/llavors/viewtopic.php?t=25 Outing in Spain 8th - 11th Sept.

If you do not understand the title to this comment, go read Lewis Mumford "The Culture of Cities" a heavy tome, and then for further enlightenment from 1890 Edward Carpenter's "Civilisation, Its Cause and Cure". That last is on the web somewhere.
