The Centre for Cities thinktank which commissioned PriceWaterhouseCooper to say that businesses could fund such schemes as London's Crossrail as long as the following caveats are paramount ( ring-fenced (guaranteed amount), time-limited (not for thirty years) and clearly supported by local businesses (harm small businesses at the cost of big business) is FUNDED by LORD SAINBURY the man who spearheaded a campaign to force public to genetically modified foods in Government. Would you trust him?

If you are serious about being against City agent Sainsbury take a look at the multilingual site http://www.nodo50.org/llavors/viewtopic.php?t=25 Outing in Spain 8th - 11th Sept.
If you do not understand the title to this comment, go read Lewis Mumford "The Culture of Cities" a heavy tome, and then for further enlightenment from 1890 Edward Carpenter's "Civilisation, Its Cause and Cure". That last is on the web somewhere.
